Outer Garden of Imperial Palace / 皇居外苑

There is a large plaza in front of the Imperial Palace, and you can see the Nijubashi, meaning double bridge, approaching to the entrance of them. there is a bronze statue of Masashige KUSUNOKI, one of famous samurai warriors who overthrew the KAMAKURA Shogunate in the 14th century. People enjoy jogging on the pavements of the plaza where lots of beautiful pine trees are planted.

Tokyo station Marunouchi side (Header picture)

It is a terminal station which should also be called the front door of Tokyo. It is the starting point of the Shinkansen bullet train, and it is the biggest base in the Shinkansen network nationwide. The red brick Marunouchi entrance station building was designed by Kingo TATSUNO, was completed in 1914, and was designated as an important cultural property of the country in 2003.
